Workshop Schedule
Teaching Tao Ahn Pai as Sifu Lew wanted it taughtJuanita actively teaches private sessions in person in San Diego throughout the year.

Juanita’s workshops consist of demonstration, meditation (if that is being taught), time for question and answers, breaks for lunch and plenty of practice! If this is your first time learning a set, you’ll have lots of time to review the movements, ask questions and feel comfortable being able to perform the set on your own.
To ensure the workshop is as smooth and enjoyable as possible please wear loose comfortable clothing and remember to bring:
- A mediation cushion, blanket and/or a yoga mat for the seated portions of the workshop. Please contact us if you prefer a chair and we will accommodate if possible.
- Water or a non-alcoholic beverage of your choosing.
- A notebook along with a pen or pencil. We ask that you do not use your phone or computer to take notes.

The Cloud Hands consists of five relatively non-strenuous movements along with a seated quiet meditation. These traditional Taoist exercises help the body maintain good health and increase vitality. The time required for practice will fit into anyone’s schedule.
It will be held at the beautiful Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. The grounds are stunning, the dahlias will be in full bloom and there will be time to walk the grounds and explore. It is such a beautiful place to play Nui Kung for the weekend.
We have reserved the South Lounge next to the cafeteria and have free access to the parking lot right next door to the South Lounge. And of course, weather permitting we will spend as much time outdoors as possible.
Whether you are attending for the first time or after many years of practice, Juanita will be teaching the set from the very beginning. The workshop is given over the two-day weekend so that upon completion of the workshop, each person leaves being able to practice the set independently. For long-time practitioners, Juanita shares nuances that can profoundly transform each person’s practice, allowing for even more insights when we see her again at the next workshop.
Please be aware that space is limited due to the size of the room, and that Juanita must make her travel arrangements in advance. Early registration is greatly appreciated to ensure that we have a sufficient number of students to proceed with the workshop and to secure your spot. Please note that registration is for two days and that participants must attend both days.
The cost of the workshop is as follows:- Early Registration (Through 8/20/24) $300.00
- Later Registration (As of 8/21/24) $325.00
- Six Stars Form Correction (Saturday following the workshop) $50.00.
